El faro de Punta Dúngenes
Uno de los faros más antiguos de Chile, cumplió 111 años. Punta Dúngenes está en el Estrecho de Magallanes, es el último de Chile continental y el 20 de febrero estuvo de cumpleaños.
La enorme torre está ubicada en el Estrecho de Magallanes y mira hacia justo al punto en que se encuentran los océanos Atlántico y Pacífico. En el lugar viven dos matrimonios de funcionarios de la Armada quienes cada cierto tiempo reciben turistas, se calientan con una estufa a gas encendida todo el día y cada cuatro meses reciben las provisiones necesarias para vivir.
